The Oil, Gas & Offshore group is divided in E&P; Offshore and Shipping and has a broad and successful track record assisting different operations and projects in the Oil, Gas & Offshore industry; working in close cooperation with other practices of the Firm.
E&P: focuses on advising clients on matters related to the Agência Nacional do Petróleo – ANP (eg bidding rounds and regulatory/administrative discussions) and capture of oil and gas field concession rights (farm-in/farm-out).
Gas: extensive experience with gas-related projects and their regulation in Brazil, we advise companies on the drafting and negotiation of various gas transportation and supply contracts, and help clients understand the applicable legal framework for gas-to-power projects.
Offshore Team: since 2010, with the strategic alliance with Wikborg Rein, we have built a unique competence in the Brazilian market. We often advise on contractual, regulatory and judicial matters for owners of production units (FPSOs) in the country.
Shipping Team: we assist clients such as ship owners, shipyards, P&I Clubs, shipping companies, port terminals and operators. Extensive experience in emergency situations involving marine incidents.
