ANP publishes Resolution nº 851/2021 on E&P operational safety inspection
On September 21st, 2021, the National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP) has approved the Resolution nº 851/2021, which regulates operational safety inspection procedures in facilities operating within the exploration and production (E&P) of hydrocarbons sector.
The new resolution replaces the ANP Resolution nº 37/2015 and, aiming at causing procedural savings and better allocation of companies’ resources, it has simplified the procedure for inspection and remediation of non-conformities identified by the Agency.
