The New Gas Law is sanctioned by the Brazilian President
The New Gas Law (Law n. 14,134/2021) was sanctioned without vetoes yesterday, April 08, 2021, by the President and published today, April 09, 2021, in the Federal Official Gazette, taking effect from this date.
The New Gas Law (former Bill n. 4476/2020), approved by majority and without the amendments proposed by the Federal Senate, fully revoked the previous Gas Law (Law n. 11,909/2009) and from now on represents the new regulatory framework of the natural gas sector in Brazil.
