Thiago Luiz Silva, from the Energy & Natural Resources area, spoke with Valor International about the renegotiation of the terms of the 2019 agreements between Petrobras and CADE. With the new agreement, Petrobras is no longer required to sell five of its refineries and the Transportadora Brasileira Gasoduto Bolívia-Brasil (TGB).
Thiago comments on the New Gas Law, implemented after the 2019 agreements, which requires the unbundling of gas companies. For him, regardless of the competitive aspect analysed by CADE, unbundling is a legal requirement that will have to happen for all companies in the sector.
