Our Energy & Natural Resources team was one of those responsible for developing the report "Scenarios for Offshore Wind Development in Brazil" for the World Bank Group. The report highlights Brazil’s offshore wind energy potential could achieve 96 GW of installed capacity by 2050. Offshore wind could complement hydroelectric power, support green hydrogen targets, create up to 516,000 jobs, and add $168 billion in national gross value.
The assistance was conducted by partner Thiago Luiz Silva with support from associates Candice Buckley, Gustavo Almeida, and Mariana Rossi. Read more about this on Offshore.
