Resolution No. 109 reveals Antaq's attention to ensuring the transparency of services and charges
On December 1st, 2023, Antaq Resolution No. 109 of November 17th, 2023 will come into force, which aims to regulate the structure of services provided by port operators and facilities, inside or outside the organised port, that handle or store containerized cargo.
Through this Resolution, Antaq intends to standardize the services provided by operators and port facilities, giving transparency to the charging method applied to the execution of these services, which, until now, have not had clear pricing criteria. To this end, Antaq has established a model pricing structure for basic services in the annexes to the Resolution.
In general terms, Operators and Port Facilities will be obliged to develop an electronic tool to simulate the maximum prices for the services provided, among other relevant information, to ensure greater transparency in the pricing of the services provided.
