Professional Background
Carla has over 20 years of experience in the legal market and extensive expertise in Strategic Litigation, with a focus on the Financial and Capital Markets. Her practice encompasses judicial and administrative proceedings, arbitration, pre-litigation, and advisory work, including corporate law, investment funds, and financial products. Carla has broad experience with regulatory matters involving the Brazilian Securities Commission (CVM) and the Central Bank of Brazil, as well as in investigations and proceedings conducted by the Federal Court of Accounts (TCU), the Federal Prosecutor’s Office (MPF), and the Office of the Comptroller General (CGU). She also works with Compliance and Investigations, advising clients on risk assessment, settlement negotiation, and the development of multidisciplinary legal strategies.
She has held leadership positions in the financial sector, serving in the Legal Departments of BNY Mellon and B3, where she was responsible for the Litigation, Regulatory, and Antitrust areas, as well as the Market Arbitration Chamber.

Máster’s Degree (LL.M.) in Corporate Law from Université Paris-Panthéon-Assas.
